Christmas Party and Presentation for 1500 people in a temporary structure
Converting existing warehouse structures and installing a further series of 4250m² temporary structures to create a fully produced event arena for a sit-down dinner for 1500 people, plus presentations and party.
We have produced this project for two consecutive seasons. A logistically challenging event, we built a 30m x 95m main auditorium, with catering and loo structures bolted onto a semi-permanent existing structure to create 5700m² of event space. The project involves a 10-day build, 330 crew days and a 4-day de-rig on a working site. Oxygen designed and built an innovative venue providing full services to include power generation and distribution, loos and heating plus all audio, lighting, video and staging elements.
The existing warehouse structures were transformed from an empty shell into a reception, bar, mini- nightclub and VIP area. Five relay screens and a stage set were installed for the all-important latest F1 livery reveal and end-of-year Lotus Managing Director’s presentation and awards.
“I just wanted to say a big “thank you” for Friday (and of course the build up to Friday). The feedback has been absolutely incredible. So many people have compared it to the Oscars or the BAFTAS. The most important bit of feedback are the amount of people who have told me that they have never been treated so special in all their life.”
