AV Technician

Location: Central London
Hours: Full time
Contract: Permanent
Salary: Highly Competitive plus Benefits

We are looking for excellent AV Technician to work within a Central London venue in an exciting new project.

The Company
Oxygen Event Services are experts in technical production, logistical management and conceptual design. Following a recent contract win, we are looking for a junior in-house AV technician to work on this project.

This is a multi-faceted role, where you will be generating quotes, delivering the AV within the venue across multiple rooms. You will be working in a team of technicians to deliver AV within this venue. The ideal candidate will be extremely organised and will thrive in a fast paced environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Liaise with stakeholders to understand the briefs and requirements for each event
  • Plan AV requirements for each event and deliver and ensure the smooth delivery of AV within schedule and cost parameters
  • Ensure all arrangements are made with the venue for each event
  • Ensure the equipment is prepped, maintained and fixed to ensure the equipment is always of the highest standard and functioning correctly

Experience & Skills:

  • You must be confident in a wide range of AV products including
    -Barco and Roland Switching
    -Panasonic Projection
    -Yamaha Digital Audio Consoles
    -D&B Audio Sound Systems
  • Are proactive and able to work independently
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to deal with numerous tasks at the same time
  • Ability to manage all types of situations and solve problems
  • Client management and development
  • Enthusiasm and passion for the role

This is a multi-faceted role, where you will be generating quotes, managing the delivery of AV within the venue, leading a team of technicians and working with a team to develop an exciting project. The ideal candidate will be extremely organised and will thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Liaise with stakeholders to understand the briefs and requirements
  • Manage projects and ensure the smooth delivery of AV within schedule and cost parameters
  • Manage the relationship with the venue and ensure all arrangements are made with the venue
  • Update the team with regular progress reports
  • Ensure the equipment is maintained to ensure the equipment is always of the highest standard and functioning correctly

Experience & Skills:

  • Will Ideally have venue experience
  • Will have experience managing AV teams
  • You must be confident in a wide range of AV products including
    – Barco and Roland Switching
    – Panasonic Projection
    – Yamaha Digital Audio Consoles
    – D&B Audio Sound Systems
  • Are proactive and able to work independently
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to deal with numerous tasks at the same time
