An evening reception at Christ Church Spitalfields produced by Oxygen to launch our ground breaking initiative to the event industry. The launch was entirely designed in line with the waste neutral policy, demonstrating how a high-quality corporate event can be produced with minimal environmental impact. All the lighting ran from one 13 amp socket using LED fixtures and the sound was completely powered by two 12 volt batteries. The furniture and décor were all sustainable and biodegradable, and the catering consisted of carbon neutral canapés by Jackson Gilmour. Oxygen’s Ed Thurstan and Alison Vaughan from The Eden Project’s Waste Neutral Programme both spoke on the value and importance of as the future of event production.
